DLA Distribution San Joaquin, CA (DDJC) is responsible for providing medical services to DLA personnel at DDJC. As a result, DLA has a requirement to obtain medical services to augment existing Government provided support.
The DDJC Health Clinic is not a primary care facility. The Health Clinic's primary function is to provide occupational health services such as job related physicals, fit for duty evaluations, immunizations in accordance with DOD/DLA Regulation/Instructions, Office of Personnel Management Classification and Qualification Standards, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards, as well as minor work-related medical care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
The Contractor shall provide all management, personnel, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, and any other items and services not government provided, systems, training and support services to operate the Health Clinic. The Contractor shall provide medical personnel at the Health Clinic to perform the medical service requirements set forth in the Performance Work Statement. At all times when services are being performed at the Health Clinic, the Contractor shall ensure an Occupational Health Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or other Clinician, who are medically licensed and qualified, are physically present at the Health Clinic. The Contractor shall also provide all labor, materials, transportation, and personnel to perform the medical service requirements set forth in the Performance Work Statement
The Contractor shall provide medical services for approximately 1,200 DLA civilian personnel and approximately 10 active-duty military personnel. Within these numbers, approximately 200 are on the medical surveillance program. Periodically, the government may request medical services be performed for Federal personnel other than DLA personnel located at DDJC (e.g., pre-hire exam for a DoD agency not located in California).
