This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to
announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to
award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Ansys Inc. (CAGE: 0U014) of
2600, Ansys Drive, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, 15317-, United States, under the authority of FAR
13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs.

Neri at josedejesus.neri.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 11:00 AM PT, Monday, 7 August 2023. Telephone
responses and requests will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete the
requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, apply.

The applicable NAICS Code is 513210 – Software Publishers and the business size standard is
$41,501,500.

All responding vendors must be registered to the System for Award Management (SAM). Information can

numbers.
