The Emergency Backup Generator Paralleling Switchgear (GPS) serving the Oklahoma City, OK (OKC) DC has aging components that are no longer serviceable. The outcome of this project will provide DISA with a complete installation package supporting the GPS at OKC. The scope of this work includes, but not limited to submittals, permits and approvals, equipment, installation, GPS programming modifications, equipment upgrades, integration, documentation, PVT, training, and turnover. The Building Automation System will be modified to support the GPS upgrades and tested to ensure the GPS system status and alarms provide the same functionality as prior to the modifications. The existing UPS synchronizing circuit in the Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) Switchgear (SWGR) that checks for synchronization between generator and utility source was never properly documented. To fill this gap, it will be documented, demonstrated, and training provided to site personnel.
