Description

Rigid container system used for the packaging, transportation, and storage of instruments prior to, during, and after sterilization. It consists of the various sizes of container bottoms, container lid, and basket options, and accessories such as instrument holders, baskets, filters, indicator cards and tamper evident locks. These reusable rigid sterilization container systems are intended to be used to enclose another medical device that is to be sterilized by a healthcare provider. It is intended to allow sterilization of the enclosed device and maintain sterility of the enclosed device until used. This requirement will continue in the future as these standardized containers are the gold standard in reusable medical device storage and transportation.
