Modular Hexavalent Chromium Decontamination Unit
Contractor shall deliver and install a 40-foot cargo container repurposed as a Modular Hexavalent Chromium Decontamination Unit (MHCDU). The unit must meet figure 2-5 Clean-Dirty Schematic of the United Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-211-02. The MHCDU is to be manufactured within a 1-hour radius of Travis AFB for cost-efficiency, reduced shipping risk, and enhanced on-time delivery probability. The unit must be designed to facilitate the safe transition of individuals through a decontamination process, in compliance with UFC 4-211-02. purchase, delivery, and installation of a 40-foot cargo container repurposed as a Modular Hexavalent Chromium Decontamination Unit (MHCDU).
