All inquiries regarding this requirement are to be submitted via ProjNet-Bidsm. ProjNet-Bidsm is a web-based program that allows bidders to post questions regarding the solicitation and to view all questions by other bidders and answers by USACE. ProjNet-Bidsm can be accessed through ProjNetsm at https://www.projnet.org/projnet/. To access the ProjNet-Bidsm website the first time: 1) Click the Bid tab

Valid business contact information (e.g. Company name, contact person, business address, phone number and email address). (required on first project only) Establish secret question and answer which will be used as a password. (required on first project only)

5) Submit questions or review questions and answers. (A bidder who submits a question will receive an automated email notification that their question has been received. When an answer is posted to a question, the question and answer is then available for all other bidders to review.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) No. W9127N24B0005 Coos Bay Upriver Clamshell Dredging 2024. The dredging project includes mandatory line items at Coos Bay, OR and potential optional line items at Site H Capacity.

Clamshell dredging is required by this contract. Material placement will within designated ocean disposal and in-river sites. 1,000,000 cubic yards will be dredged as a mandatory line items, with additional optional items depending on project needs and funding availability. The overall period of performance will be from 1 July 2024 through 31 October 2024 for physical completion of all work to include all options. The forthcoming solicitation is subject to the availability of funds.

The solicitation will be available for download on or about 22 April 2024 with bids due 30 days after advertisement.

A pre-solicitation conference is scheduled for 7 March 2024 at 10:00 am Pacific Time via Webex teleconference. Call-in information will be provided to attendees via email at least one day prior to the scheduled call.

This industry conference is for market research and planning purposes. This is not a solicitation. This notice is not an invitation for bids and any bids received as a result of this pre-solicitation notice will not be accepted or evaluated.
