Description

The Bridger Teton National Forest (BTNF), Kendall Gravel Pit Development project consists of pit development, crushing, addition of commercial bentonite, stockpiling of road surface material, and pit reclamation. The material for this project shall be produced by developing and excavation in the pit area on site. Any small trees or brush that exist in the proposed excavation area shall be piled on site at an approved location. All finished side slopes shall be 3:1. The bottom of the excavation site that is not used for floor of stockpile shall be scarified and sloped to drain out of the pit and away from any streams, rivers, or lakes.
