Description

Scope of Work: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and supervision required to complete the work per the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. See Attachment 002 Statement of Work NFSR 283 Road and Repair clean for specific details not included under this paragraph.



▪ Cleaning and reconstructing of ditches and leadoffs.



▪ Reshaping the road prism and placement of surface aggregate.



▪ Seeding and fertilizing of ditches.



Work begins at State Road 112 on NFSR-283 and will consist of be 2.6 miles of ditch and road prism reshaping, with the placement of aggregate surface material. All work will be staked in the field by Forest Service personnel.



Project Name and Location: 1536-10 Calcasieu NFSR 283 Repair Located at State Road 112 on NFSR-283 in the Calcasieu Ranger District of the Kisatchie National Forest (Rapides Parrish.

Type of Contract: This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) which will result in award of a firm-fixed price contract. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive/responsible bidder.



Set Aside: The project is set-aside 100% for small businesses per FAR 19.5.



▪ The associated NAICS of this acquisition is 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction (size standard $45m).



▪ PSC Code Z2LB - Repair or Alteration of Highways, Roads, Streets, Bridges, and Railways.



Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this project is: (d) Between $250,000 and $500,000.



Solicitation and Documents: The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://beta.sam.gov on or about 12-27-2023. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out.



All RFI's regarding this solicitation shall be emailed to the Contract Specialist adam.doyle@usda.gov and cc: steven.alves@usda.gov. Once received by the noted due date, the government shall respond within 5 business days.
