Notice of Intent
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Southeastern Contracting Division, 808 Schreider Street, Fort Detrick, MD 21702, intends to add a two-month option period to contract N6264519C0004 on a sole source basis. The contract is for non-personal Patient Safety Specialist services (15 full time positions) at Medical Treatment Facilities throughout the United States. This is a firm fixed-price contract held by Synensys, LLC, 145 Governors Square, Suite D, Peachtree City, GA 30269. The existing contract has a one-year base period and 4 one-year option periods with a total price of $9,442,957.32. An option period of 01 September 2024 through 31 October 2024 will be added to the contract with a price of $316,953.46. The total contract price, including all options, will become $9,769,910.78. The Product and Service Code (PSC) is R706, Support – Management: Logistics Support. The requirement was competed under solicitation N6264519R0005 as a 100% small business set aside for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. The award date was 09 July 2019.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit a capability statement. The document shall be sufficient to determine capability of providing the required services and include an estimated price. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
If a contractor challenges the basis of this requirement, a capability statement (formats for submission: PDF, MS Word, or MS Excel) shall be emailed to Justin Robertson at justin.d.robertson.civ@health.mil. A capability statement shall be received no later than 5:00 PM ET on 22 April 2024. No phone calls will be accepted.
