Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.





AMENDMENT 01





The following Addendum is being issued for the subject Request for Quotation: 344954 Gratings





Answers to Questions:






  1. Would you be able to provide us with any technical drawings or an idea on the size you need along with the specs for these gratings requested below?



Answer: It appears that the second half of the specs didn’t make it. See additional requirements:



DE 0T TE / DE 0T TM (0T contrast): > 35:1



Grating area: 36 mm x 18 mm (stitch fields 9 mm x 9 mm)



Chip size: 38 mm x 20 mm



Chip thickness: 1 mm






  1. Kindly provide us panel sizes for the 16 pieces.

    38 mm x 20 mm (panel sizes).





NOTE: Technical Criteria is updated to include:



DE 0T TE / DE 0T TM (0T contrast): > 35:1



Grating area: 36 mm x 18 mm (stitch fields 9 mm x 9 mm)

The Bid Close Date is also moved to April 18, 2024. Last day for questions is April 12, 2024.





This Addendum modifies the Request for Quotation and must be acknowledged. Failure to acknowledge all addenda could make your proposal non-responsive. Please confirm that the submitted proposal is not changed because of this addendum. If proposal sent is revised because of this, please submit the revised proposal.

The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) will be made a part of the resulting order. Please mark up terms and conditions if you wish to negotiate. No mark ups mean that you accept SLAC Terms and Conditions.
