Utilize commonly accepted data collection and analytic methods to present the density of recreational use and the optimal recreational use density for Nolin River Lake. Nolin River Lake is 5,790 surface acres at the summer recreational pool and receives nearly 2 Million visits each year. The US Army Corps of Engineers operates 3 class A campgrounds and 6 boat ramps on the lake. Three marinas and over 2,500 private permitted boat slips also contribute to recreational boating.
