THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation.
Joint Interagency Task Force South is currently conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the capabilities to fulfill a requirement of Semi-Annual Preventative Maintenance for Automated Sliding Gate, make & model - Hy-Security, SlideDriver 30F, 222 EX 1-7. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to determine the strategy for future procurement.
Requirements:
1. Regular preventive maintenance of an automated sliding gate system. The activities shall include, but not be limited to inspection, adjustment, lubrication, and cleaning.
2. Testing and inspecting the sliding gate’s operation including photo eyes, loop detectors, and remote transmitters, drive wheel, drive rail, spring tension, brake valve, pressure relief valve, directional and quick stop valves, limit switches, fluid levels, and clock battery.
3. Diagnose potential problems and repair malfunctioning parts.
4. Carry out on-call repair services if the gate fails to function normally. All potential contractors must have substantial experience in similar services, a valid business license, and proof of liability insurance.
This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Further, we are not currently seeking proposals; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation or submit a proposal as a result of this notice. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to these sources sought and that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to these sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to these sources sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise from a response to the notice. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the website for additional information pertaining to these sources sought.
RESPONSE INFORMATION: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be received no later than 10:00 AM EST, on Friday 29 March 2024. Responses should be emailed to: Yasemin.akman-lloyd.civ@mail.mil. Responses and/or inquiries WILL NOT be accepted past the deadline.
Interested parties should include their company name, address, phone number, point of contact, CAGE code, company size status and whether they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. All interested parties must provide a response containing a written capabilities statement, confirming they can comply with the government needs, as specified above. All responders to this Sources Sought Notice understand, by submitting this written statement, they are certifying they can meet ALL criteria.
