Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. USCGC Calhoun located in North Charleston; SC intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000 for: Commissioning Ceremony USCGC Calhoun (WMSL 759).



All requirements are stated in the Statement of Work (SOW)



Setup and installation of 34’ x 16’ stage, 60’ x 160’ Tent, audio/visual equipment, portable toilets, and chairs: Stage, Tent, portable toilets and chairs setup shall take place Thursday April 18, 2024, at 12pm. Audio Visual setup can take place the morning of the event prior to 9am, Saturday April 20, 2024.



Breakdown and cleanup of party tent and furniture: Breakdown will need to occur the day of the event, Saturday 20 April 2024, no earlier than 4pm and prior to 8pm.



All materials and supplies to be furnished are as follows:






  • One (01) 34’ x 16’ Stage with Roof, rails, and stairs.

  • Red, white & Blue Skirting for front stage and sides.

  • Red, white & Blue Half-moon Bunting Flags for stage and rails.

  • One (01) 60’ x 160’ White Pole Tent

  • Two (02) Podiums equipped with microphone capability.

  • Two (02) Standard Portable Toilet: exterior height 88”-90”, exterior width 43”- 44”, depth 46”-48”, tank capacity 60-70 gallons, and weight 160-200 lbs.

  • One (01) ADA compliant portable toilet: exterior height 90”-91”, exterior width 60”- 67”, depth 60”-87”, tank capacity 35-50 gallons, and weight 250-400 lbs.




  • Six hundred (600) Folding chairs, Color: Bone (ex. Samsonite)




  • Audio speakers capable of covering a 20,000 square feet area.

  • Two (02) 120” or greater viewing screens that produce a clear image and that provides live audio video feed to screens.




  • Six (06) 8’ standard profile round tables.

  • Six (06) Navy Blue Tablecloths for 8’ round tables
