Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Jacksonville District intends to solicit and contract with Coastal Conservation Group LLC (CAGE 9SG63), of St. Augustine, FL, on a sole-source basis to conduct post construction surveys and environmental monitoring for Threatened and Endangered (T&E) sea turtle species within the project footprint of the St. Johns County (SJC) Coastal Storm Risk Management (CSRM) (South Ponte Vedra Beach and Vilano Beach Reaches) and SJC Shore Protection Project (SPP) (St. Augustine Beach) efforts. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541620, Environmental Consulting Services.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) implements a program regulating permits for marine turtle-related activities. Only one marine turtle permit is issued per beach to manage impacts on turtle habitats. This approach ensures responsible management of marine turtle populations in Florida. Coastal Conservation Group LLC is the only Marine Turtle Permit Holder for the St. Johns County locations listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Therefore, this requirement will be solicited using other than full and open competition in accordance with the procedures of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).

No solicitation will be posted for this requirement.

If you have any questions concerning this opportunity, please contact: Ms. Brittany Jackson at (904) 232-1013 or Mr. Gary Weir at (904) 570-4596.

Any potential source may contact the persons indicated above to discuss their ability to offer the required services for future acquisitions.
