Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source



The USDA, Forest Service intends to sole source the purchase of two (2) Premium Biomet Sensor Packages to monitor carbon inputs and outputs (i.e., flux) to LI-COR, Inc., Sam UEI #GTDVYFYXCFF7 in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) – soliciting from a single source. The serial/product # for the Biomet Sensor package is 7900-119-50.



This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals.

The sensors and probes in the Biomet Sensor Package have the following salient characteristics:

Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this notice of proposed contract action.

Responses must be received no later than April 26, 2024, 1200 (EST). All documentation shall become property of the Government. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Quote, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
