Description

Science leadership to ensure scientific integrity of the Near-Earth Object Surveyor (NEOS) mission, manage relationships among elements of the project and the science investigators. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a science office, setting up and participating in reviews, implementing and monitoring science support contracts, planning science operations and data analyses, and serving as the scientific spokesperson for the project.



The Survey Director, and team, have experience with near-earth object missions and the required technology. The technology development occurred under their leadership and is nearing completion of the flight hardware units. The Survey Director and team are needed to provide technical expertise of NEOS tasks, including overall project guidance and scientific knowledge.
