Description
Veterans Affairs Seeking Medical Space
The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease 19,000 19,950 usable square feet (26,933 rentable square feet) of medical office space in the greater Mechanicsville, Virginia area. The space must be handicap accessible in according with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (4 CFR 101-19.6, App A) and ready for occupancy immediately. On-site parking for a minimum of 200 vehicles is required including 20 designated handicapped parking spaces specifically for VA usage. The VA requires a full service lease for a five (5) year firm term plus five (5) soft term years for a total of ten (10) years.
All proposed space must be within the following delineated area:
From the North: Chamberlayne Road and New Ashcake Road
From the South: Hoper Haven Drive and Creighton Road
From the East: Colts Neck Road and Sandy Valley Road
From the West: Intersection of Chamberlayne Road and Richfood Road
Must be within 3 miles of I-95.
Interested offerors (owners, brokers, or legal representatives) must contact Lease Contracting Officer Jackie Bray via E-Mail at Jackie.Bray@va.gov. Interested offerors must submit the address, property description, available square footage, and photographs. Also a map or proof that the proposed property is within the delineated area is required. Contact is required by 4:30 EST Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space.
