Our intent in publishing the White Paper was to provide PPE demand information across the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and to demonstrate the commitment of the Federal government to advancing Made in America objectives by implementing acquisition programs to support long-term sustainability of the domestic PPE manufacturing industry. The purpose of this industry convening session is to obtain your feedback from the information provided in the White Paper. At the event, you will hear from members of the Executive Office of the President and the agencies about the information provided in the White Paper. We also want to hear suggestions regarding future industry convenings, to include topics of interest and other suggestions or recommendations we can take to further efforts to catalyze domestic manufacturing and jobs to support a more resilient PPE supply chain. Your feedback will be used to help shape the Federal government’s approach to buying PPE as an organized entity. Please note we will not be discussing any specific procurement matters. The event is closed to the press.
