Sources Sought/Request for Information- This market survey is for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATIN FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of all firms interested in participating in the competition to compete and perform a firm-fixed price construction contract. The Government will not pay for any information provided as a result of this market survey.





The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District (MVM) is conducting research to determine the capabilities of potential contractors to support a project requirement. The project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, and material for Drinkwater II Pump Station Rehabilitation and any incidental related work according to the specifications and plans. The work consists of repairing and replacing all damaged mechanical and electrical equipment, repairing all damaged concrete surfacing, painting, and renovating the rest-room of the Drinkwater II Pump Station, near Charleston, IL. The estimated value of the work is between $1M and $5M.



All responses will be reviewed for preliminary planning purposes in determining future acquisition strategy. Provide no more than five (5) references, of the most recent and relevant contracts, performed within the last ten (10) years of work same/ similar in nature of which three (3) of these five (5) must involve miscellaneous repairs. Include name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address of references. Also provide a brief description of the work performed, contract number, total contract value, and period of performance. Submission of information should be limited to not more than five (5) pages.





Acquisition Strategy: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District (MVM), has been tasked to solicit for and award a project utilizing NAICS 237990: Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, Firm-Fixed Price contract. The Small Business Size Standard for this requirement is $45 million. Under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines, the prime contractor must have the capability to perform at least 15% of the contract with his/her own employees. Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM), including the NAICS code they are bidding under, in order to receive a Government contract award.
