1.1 BACKGROUND
Tank Dialysis Cleaning and Inspection Service for (2) 10,000-gallon AST Jet A fuel tanks located at USCG Sector Humboldt Bay.
1. SCOPE
The Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform fuel tank dialysis cleaning for two 10,000-gallon Jet A fuel tanks, to include proper handling and disposal of contaminated fuel/waste product in accordance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
2. TASKS

Contractor shall perform fuel tank cleaning service for two fuel tanks with the following specifications:
- Capacity: 10,000 gallons
- Design: horizontal, Circular, UL 2085
- AST Category: Category 1
- Construction: double wall, coated steel, concrete filled secondary

Contractor tasks shall include:
- Setting up safety perimeter around job site
- Evacuating residual fuel
- Preparing tanks for confined space entry and issuing all required permitting
- Replacing fuel filters
- Full tank inspections for both tanks
- Contractor shall perform a final inspection with fuel samples taken prior to and after tank cleaning.
- Contractor shall provide a detailed, photo-documented, after service report and provide copies to the unit.
Contractor shall complete all work, deliverables and outcomes within 45 calendar days after notice to proceed is given by the Government.
