This solicitation, Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project (SELA) 72.2, is being issued as Invitation for Bid (IFB) and resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract.
This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside Procurement.
The work consists of clearing and grubbing; construction of temporary retaining structures; maintenance and diversion of stormwater; construction of cast-inplace flumes, transitions, and box culverts; installation of anchors, demolition; structural excavation and backfill; construction unwatering; driving prestressed concrete piles, compression pile load tests; driving steel sheet piling; fertilizing, seeding and mulching; relocation of utilities; installation of storm drainage systems; installation of sanitary sew er pipe, removal and replacement of street paving and curbs; providing and maintaining traffic control and coordination; installation of roadway lighting; miscellaneous metal work; and other related incidental work.
The estimated value of this work is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000.
