NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT
The Air Force District Washington (AFDW)/PKF intends to award a Sole Source contract The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 300 Kenan Center Dr, Chapel Hill, NC, 27599-5056, for Enterprise Leadership Seminar(s), see attached Sole Source Justification.
AFDW/PKF will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition.
The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), Soliciting Competition, which states: For purchases exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The requirements at 13.501(a) apply to sole-source (including brand-name) acquisitions of commercial products and commercial services conducted pursuant to subpart 13.5.
The proposed contract action is Sole Source only.
In accordance with FAR 5.102, the required justification documentation is attached.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 5:00 PM E.S.T, 30 April 2024. via email to eric.moss.3@us.af.mil.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closed date specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
