The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a modification to the sole source purchase order to Udemy, Inc., 600 Harrison St., Floor 3, San Francisco, CA, 94107-1300, for an additional 2,500 licenses per year for option years 3 through 4 to the Udemy platform under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) to allow proper time for follow acquisition planning, budgeting and competition. This increase will allow the continuation of an online training platform that provides a variety of IT Software Developer training courses outlined below:
Criteria for a Virtual Training Platform:
- Must offer a variety of IT Software Developer training courses
- Must maintain current technology to match industry
- Must have flexibility with training and low down time for course updates

Must have training on the following programming languages:
- Java
- JavaScript
- Python

Must have training on the following frameworks:
- React
- Flask
- Django
- Redux

Must have training on the following Database systems:
- PostgreSQL
- mongoDB
After extensive market research, NGA believes Udemy is still the only source reasonably available to fully satisfy this requirement. No competition is being sought.
This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. Entities that believe it can meet this requirement may submit a written notification in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
