Description

BACKGROUND:



The United States Coast Guard Medium Range Surveillance (MRS) and Long Range Surveillance (LRS) product lines perform multiple functions associated with aircraft washing, fuel tank washing, and engine wash task. The wastewater needs to be collected for release into the sanitary sewer system.



REQUIREMENTS:



The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing this Sources Sought for market research purposes to identify sources that can provide a portable 3500-gallon wastewater tank. The requirements for the waste-water storage tank ARE AS FOLLOWS:




  1. 3500 Gallons minimum.

  2. ASTM Double Wall Containment.

  3. Meet ASTM D1998 – 06 requirements.

  4. 1.5 Specific Gravity.

  5. 102 inches in diameter.

  6. 158 inches in height.

  7. Bottom Sidewall Outlet.

    1. Transition fitting for 3” bolted fitting

    2. 3” double Flanged Fitting with EPDM gasket and stainless-steel bolts



  8. Top Inlet

    1. 3” schedule 80 PVC Bulkhead fitting w/ EPDM gasket



  9. Top U-Vent

    1. 3” PVC u-Vent with 3” threaded bulkhead fitting

    2. Bug Screen



  10. Level Indicator

    1. Ultrasonic Level Indicator with fitting



  11. Packaging

  12. Freight/Shipping



RFI SUBMISSION:



Your submission should include a Rough Order of Magnitude and include any supplies, support equipment, and installation requirements applicable to this Sources Sought.



The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement may be 237110.

It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the Contract Opportunities website.



Failure to respond or submit sufficiently detailed information may result in a company not being considered a likely offeror when making a decision on whether or how to set aside a solicitation for restricted competition. Regardless of the information submitted, the Government reserves the right to consider any arrangement as determined appropriate for this requirement.

The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose determined necessary and legally appropriate, including using technical information provided by respondents in any resultant solicitation.
