The Government is not obligated, nor shall it pay for, any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice.

The West Palm Beach VA Health System is seeking business concerns capable of providing the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center Facility address listed below:

The contractor shall furnish Professional Services to provide Fire Sprinkler System and Fire Alarm System Testing services. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, tools, and equipment necessary to inspect and test the fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems

The contractor shall provide the Technical Point of Contact or COR with an annual and semi-annual schedule for all facility testing. They shall notify the VA technical person or COR at least seventeen days in advance to performing inspections and testing services. The VA Technical person or COR must provide prior approval for the shutdown of the fire alarm system for all areas that are being tested. All tests must be performed per current NFPA approved test methods or manufacturers specifications and must be performed as expertly and expeditiously as possible. The inspection and testing of the water-based system shall include all elements of the sprinkler system, pipe and pipe fittings, gauges, hangers, fire pumps, control valves, pressure valves, and main drains. All testing will be performed IAW with The Joint Commission, Current NFPA 25, NFPA 72 and VHA requirements.

An initial report of all required repairs, abnormal findings, and results of tests shall be submitted to the COR within three (3) working days after completion of inspection/testing. A final report will be provided by the contractor within two weeks after completion of testing. All contractor provided reports shell be in the Joint Commission compliant format and show include NFPA and/or standard to which the testing was performed. The contractor report shall list any deficiencies to the fire system equipment found during the inspections and any adjustments made to the system.
