Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to issue a solicitation 15B41424Q00000007 for the provision of one (1) Energy Recovery Ventilator. The contractor shall provide and deliver the unit within 90 days ARO. Contractor will deliver to U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807.The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238220.



The solicitation is restricted to 100% small business, FOB Destination, and is a firm-fixed price contract. The USMCFP intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors and technical. Technical will be evaluated based on features of the equipment including layout or any other reasonable basis. The solicitation will be available on or about March 28, 2024, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Contract Opportunities website at sam.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about Friday, April 19, 2024. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirements that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM), database prior to close of solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements at sam.gov.



One site visit will be held on Tuesday April 9, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. CST. This site visit is not mandatory but recommended. The site visit will be inside the Secure Perimeter and all individuals who plan on attending must complete, sign, and return the attached NCIC check form. The NCIC must be emailed to Michelle Day mday@bop.gov and Ross Hanners rhanners@bop.gov no later than 10:00 am on March 28, 2024. If you do not complete this requirement by this date and time, you will not be allowed to enter the institution to attend the site visit. Confirmation of receipt is the responsibility of the sender.



If an NCIC check is submitted timely but clearance is not obtained based on the results of the background check, you will not be allowed to attend the site visit. All contractors approved to enter the institution for the site visit must: 1) Utilize the Kansas Expressway entrance, 2) Stop at the speaker box located on the left side of the road from the guard tower, 3) Inform the Tower Officer you are attending the elevator service site visit, 4) Bring a photo ID and your license plate number, 5) The following are not allowed: Weapons (including pocket knives), cell phones, pagers, radios, cameras, drugs, and alcohol. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for security procedures.



Following the site visit all questions must be submitted to the Government in writing to Michelle Day mday@bop.gov and Ross Hanners rhanners@bop.gov for clarification no later than 10:00 am Friday, April 12, 2024.
