Description

Please see attachment for full details.

The RF technology division is seeking waveguide probes in the millimeter-wave frequency bands. This solution will be used to characterize the active devices and circuits above 100 GHz. This solution will enable transistor large-signal characterization that will be used to extract and validate transistor models under the CHIPS program. Market research efforts have found only two (2) companies, FormFactor and GBH, that can potentially offer waveguide probes that can meet our needs. The probes offered by these two companies, however, have never been tested in the specific environments that NIST requires them to perform, therefore NIST intents to purchase probes from each to test their capabilities.

Please note: A separate notice will be posted for purchase of probes from each company.
