Description

Two barges and one passenger boat with transportation to and from location, provided below, to include but not limited to all aspections of operation.



Requirements timeframe and service: Oct 17 – Nov 1, 2023



U.S. Coast Guard certified, ocean going Roll-on Roll-off (Ro-Ro) ABS deck barge no longer than 200 feet in length and 50 feet in width. Ro-Ro barge must have loading ramp no less than 14 feet wide to handle oversized loads. The Ro-Ro barge must have no less than 7,500 Sq. ft. of usable deck space for posturing of mission essential equipment. The Ro-Ro barge must be designed for marshalling vehicles, trucks, heavy equipment and construction materials in excess of 1,500 tons. Ro-Ro barge must be able and access shallow waters and be maneuvered by medium or large sized ocean tugboat to hold at specified locations and orientation. Ro-Ro barge is to be accompanied by a U.S. Coast Guard certified, ocean going medium or large tugboat with a minimum 2000 HP. Qualified captain, crew, and fuel for vessel for all operation days. Capable of long-distance open ocean towing, off-shore mooring, and shallow water operations. Vessels are capable of accessing the Port of San Diego, U.S. Naval installations, San Clemente Island port and Beach Landing areas, along with San Nicholas Island.



U.S. Coast Guard certified Ocean service Causeway deck barge no less than 90 feet in length and 20 feet in width. Causeway deck barge should have no less than a 100 ton load capacity. Causeway deck barge is to be accompanied by a U.S. Coast Guard certified, ocean going medium or large tugboat with a minimum 2000 HP. Qualified captain, crew, and fuel for vessel for all operation days. Capable of long-distance open ocean towing, off-shore mooring, and shallow water operations. Vessels are capable of accessing the Port of San Diego, U.S. Naval installations, San Clemente Island port and Beach Landing areas, along with San Nicholas Island.



U.S. Coast Guard certified Triple Screw Crew Boat no less than 94 feet in length for open ocean operations up to 400 NM off the California coast. Qualified captain, crew, and fuel for vessel for all operation days. Crew boat should have no less than three Cat C-18 engines at 1800 HP. Crew boat shall have open deck space no less than 42 feet in lengthx 18 feet for mission essential equipment. Crew boat shall have a 4 ton crane for equipment on/off-loading with at least 20 ton cargo capacity. Crew boat must have no less than two Cat C2.2 60 Hz generators. Crew boat capacity should allow for up to 100 passengers with berthing for up to 16 passengers. Crew boat must have fresh water capacity to sustain operations and life support for all crew and passengers. Provide cook to prepare three meals daily for all passengers remaining overnight in support of operations. Crew boat parlor will be restricted to mission essential personnel for the duration of operations. Vessel is capable of accessing the Port of San Diego, U.S. Naval installations, San Clemente Island port and Beach Landing areas, along with San Nicholas Island.
