Title: Propulsion Auxiliary Control, Damage Control, Ballast Control, and various machinery control Human-Machined Interfaces (HMI)
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles. This requirement is for NSWCPD Code 516, which is responsible for machinery controls engineering support and advanced damage control systems support.
The requirement is in support of a contract for Propulsion Auxiliary Control, Damage Control, Ballast Control, and various machinery control Human-Machined Interfaces (HMI). These HMIs shall be used on U.S. Naval Ships, Military Sealift Command, Army, U.S. Coast Guard and foreign Navy Ships to control and monitor multiple systems. The requirement includes processors, Central Processing Unit (CPU) enclosures, flat panel displays, deck mounted consoles, bulkhead mounted consoles, associated hardware and peripheral equipment used to display and control system specific information. The required items are commercial within the meaning of Commercial Product; FAR Part 2. Commercial terms and conditions will apply to the solicitation and resulting contract.
