Contract Opportunity

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business vendors. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The West Virginia Air National Guard, Martinsburg, WV has been tasked to solicit for and award the following services:

Inspection and testing of all base fire protections systems required by UFC 3-601-02. UFC Inspection Testing and Maintenance (ITM) tables 2-1 through 2-26 were selected to ensure that the fire protection systems will function on demand. Base devices include;

• Fire Detection and Alarm Systems

• Wet Pipe Sprinkler Systems

• Dry Pipe Automatic Sprinkler Systems

• Deluge Sprinkler Systems

• Pre-Action Automatic Sprinkler Systems

• Standpipe Systems

• Fire Pumps

• Water Supply Tanks

• Dry Chemical Systems

• Emergency Lighting Systems

• Hydrant Flow Tests

• Egress Marking Systems

• Fire and Smoke Barrier Opening Protection

• Backflow Prevention Devices

Proposed project will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of all interested parties to compete and perform a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal no later than 15 February 2024, 1:00 PM EST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached to this posting).

In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
