You are invited to submit comments/feedback in response to this Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) concerning an upcoming solicitation for a Key Management System to the Iowa National Guard, Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center, USPFO-P&C, Bldg. 3475, 7105 NW 70th Avenue, Johnston, IA 50131-1824.

Quotes are not requested at this time.

All specifications for the proposed Key Management System shall meet or exceed the salient characteristics described below. Please provide comments/feedback, to include the following:

1. Can your business provide a schedule quote for this requirement from a GSA contract?

2. Can your business proved this requirement from an open market quote.

3. Are the salient characteristics either too vague or too restrictive?

4. Estimated delivery lead-time after receipt of order (ARO)?

5. Any additional information which would be helpful to prepare a quote, i.e., intended use, salient characteristics, etc.

Salient Characteristics:

• Shall have a main cabinet capable of housing a minimum of 96 key locations


• Shall have 4-16 key modules and 2 blank modules


• Shall have card reader/relay output


• Shall have a minimum 65 smart keys


• Shall have a minimum 25 steel rings


• Shall have 1 backup battery


• Shall have Lantronix Ethernet Adapter (CAT 5/6)


• Shall have 24-4 Interface Cable (9-9 Pin)


• Shall include program software


• Shall include all component and operator manuals

Note: Item Unique Identification (IUID) label is required per DFARS Clause 252.211-7003 “Item Identification and Valuation” for items priced at $5,000 and above.
