The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, North Carolina intends to award a government purchase order to the vendor/contractor who can provide the most cost-effective means in obtaining one industrial dryer for the Laundry Department. The Federal Correctional Complex is requesting one 150 LB capacity steam dryer with 480/3phase voltage with controls. The contractor shall install the one dryer at FCC Butner.
When offering your proposal, please include all details regarding installation costs and any information on warranties. (See attached Request for Quotation).
Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex, Old NC Highway 75, Butner, North Carolina 27509, Attn: Sean Hughes. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The contracting official intends to make this award on an all or none basis. The Government will award to the responsible quoter whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government, with price considered equally. All responsible business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 8, 2023, and will be posted here to the SAM.gov website: http://sam.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, and award information will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Quotes will be due Monday, September 18, 2023, by 12:00 pm EST. The Government reserves the right to make payment using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Quoters should include their Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number in their offer. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAMS) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees’ UEI number into the SAMS database. Failure to complete this registration procedure outlined in this solicitation, may result in elimination from consideration for award. You should check to see if your registration is still valid and has not expired. If it has expired, you need to update it to where it shows active again or this could be grounds for elimination from consideration for award.
