The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to remove all equipment associated with the Monaco system in fire department vehicles. The Monaco systems previously installed are end of life and causing electrical and battery issues in vehicles leading to unreliable operation. The system is no longer in use and must be demobilized in order to ensure reliability of emergency response vehicle fleet.
Remove Monaco equipment including but not limited to; Wiring, fuse blocks, UPS devices, Antennas, Antenna Cables, Battery Chargers, and all associated brackets from ten (10) fire department response vehicles. All existing vehicle wiring, emergency light/sirens, shoreline connections and vehicle battery chargers should remain and be fully functional with no bare wiring at completion of removal.
Remove Monaco equipment including but not limited to; Wiring, fuse blocks, UPS devices, Antennas, Antenna Cables, Battery Chargers, and all associated brackets from Chief 2(Ram 1500) and SCAT11(Ford F450) fire department response vehicles. One battery charger with associated wiring and shoreline auto eject connection should remain or be remounted and wired to charge the vehicle starting battery. All existing vehicle wiring, emergency light/sirens, shoreline connections and vehicle battery chargers should remain and be fully functional with no bare wiring at completion of removal.
Vendor/contractor shall validate all components of the system performance after installation
All removal and installation work must be completed within 60 days from award. A warranty, to include all software, hardware components, installation, and labor of the proposed solution, will cover not less than one year from the date of LRAFB final acceptance.
