Description

CIRCULATION PUMP

Needed to pressurize noble gases, in a closed loop, for circulation.

Specification/Requirements:

  • Output pressures anywhere between 2 and 15 bar

    • This requirement can be reduced with a regulator: static output pressure at 15bar would suffice.

  • Input pressure can be adjusted so that it’s either the same as the output or anything lower down to 1bar (so closed loop or compression is fine)

    • This requirement can also be adjusted with a regulator: static input pressure around 1bar is feasible.

Additional Requirements and Information:

  • Minimal leak rate: Helium leak tested with a leak rate = 1 x 10-5 mbar l/s.

  • Will be run continuously for weeks and months at a time

  • Gases will all be non-exothermic noble gases of argon, xenon, and mixtures of the two. Ideally the pump should be capable of running 15 bar pure xenon as well as pure argon.

  • Flow rate between 50 and 200 SLPM necessary for both gasses and mixtures

Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Procurement personnel listed on this announcement via email at krojas@anl.gov by no later than 04/03/2023.
