Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project will restore approximately 3.4 miles of beach and dune along the Flagler County shoreline between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Range Monuments R-77 and R-96. The fill template consists of construction of dune and beach berm as shown in the drawings. Material for the project will be dredged from Borrow Area 3A, approximately 10.25 nautical miles offshore of Flagler County in Federal waters. Sand from upland sources may be placed as beach fill to allow for access to and staging on the beach within the North and South Reaches. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, vibration control and monitoring, environmental species monitoring, preparation of the staging and access area near R-95, gopher tortoise relocation, turbidity monitoring, dune vegetation planting, sign and post and rope installation, and sand fencing.



The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 29 February 2024 and bids will be due on or about 01 April 2024.

The Small Business Standard is $37 million



The Magnitude of construction is over $10,000,000.00.



The period of performance associated with this requirement is: 320 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).



THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED REQUIREMENT.



NOTE: U.S. COAST GUARD CERTIFIED DREDGE IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE WORK.
