Description

This Solicitation replaces Notice ID: 1282B123R0057 under Solicitation No. 1282B123R0057 that was originally a HUBZone set-aside.



This Solicitation is a Total Small Business set-aside.



The Salmon-Challis National Forest has an Aquatic Organism Passage project to replace an existing ford with a bridge. Work includes channel restoration, installation of a government furnished bridge on contractor provided abutments and the construction of bridge approach roadways. Rock and aggregate materials are available from government sources. Alternate (Commercial) sources proposed by the contractor will need to be approved for material suitability and weed free nature of the source. The contractor is responsible for the acquisition of the abutment materials per the attached plans and specifications along with the erection of the abutments.



Government furnished materials are located at 3 locations in the vicinity of the project. The prefabricated bridge will be staged in Salmon, Idaho. The contractor is responsible for transporting the bridge to the work site. An instream work window of 7/15 to 8/15 has been established. All work within the ordinary high-water mark including de-watering, excavation and backfill, channel restoration and re-watering of the channel shall occur within this window.



Refer to the attached Schedule of Items, Statement of work, Prelim Moyer Creek FSSS, Moyer Creek Final Drawings, Project Design features, , Moyer Creek Bridge Shop Drawings, Moyer Access map and Materials vicinity maps for specifications, drawings, requirements and locations.



There is no Pre-Proposal site visit is planned. The location is open to the public and Offers are encouraged to visit the site on thier own.
