Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District intends to issue a solicitation to prepare design documents and perform construction work on LeMay Gate located at Whiteman AFB, Missouri. The requirement is an 100% Small Business Set- Aside. This solicitation will use a 2 Phase Design-Build procurement methodology as described in FAR Part 36.3 and will result in a Firm Fixed Price Award.

The scope of this Design-Build contract for the Modernize LeMay Gate project includes the following:

• Design of pavements and small entry control facility from a 35% conceptual design
• Design in compliance with UFCs and government criteria
• Rough grading
• Asphalt and/or Concrete pavements
• Mechanical and Electrical
• Signage
• Work planning/phasing to keep current entrance usable
• Work near Entrance to Whiteman AFB from MO Hwy 23
