The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is searching for vendors with the capabilities to provide Standpipe testing. This service is needed for is the Jesse Brown VAMC in Chicago IL.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, parts, test equipment, tools, and expertise necessary to perform Standpipe Testing. The contractor shall provide the following coverage: complete parts and labor, maintenance and service, to include all components for the standpipe testing. Contractor to perform 5-year standpipe hydrostatic flow test as required per Joint Commission and NFPA Code 25 for 17 standpipes: The Contractor shall be able to provide all labor, materials, tools, travel, management, and equipment necessary to provide 5-year standpipe testing for the wet fire suppression system as well as 3-year leakage test for dry system as required per NFPA code 25 and Joint Commission EC.02.03.05 EP12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210.
All interested, responsible sources must submit a capability statement by Thursday, November 09, 2023, by 5PM Central time, to Romell.Parrott@va.gov to include the following:
The Contractor shall be able to provide all labor, materials, tools, travel, management, and equipment necessary to provide 5-year standpipe testing for the wet fire suppression system as well as 3-year leakage test for dry system as required per NFPA code 25 and Joint Commission EC.02.03.05 EP12.
Company Experience in providing maintenance testing and repair services to referenced stand pipe testing, to include number of years and any examples of current contracts in place with government or commercial entities;
Customer point of contact information for contracts listed in company experience along with a description of equipment serviced under the contract.
Verification of authorization and training related to servicing referenced equipment;
Number of qualified maintenance personnel employed.
DUNS number, organization name, organization address, point of contact, business size under NAICS 238210, and socioeconomic status.
This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes to determine availability of qualified vendors and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly.
