Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice only.





The United States Department of Agriculutre (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), National Sedimentation Laboratory has a requirement to replace Exterior Sanitary Sewer Line B-1.



The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplosh the services to be performed in strict accordance as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Contractor shall provide all materials, labor and equipment in order to perform the following to replace Exterior Sanitary Sewer Line B-1. This project is located at Building #4 and 29A, USDA ARS National Sedimentation Laboratory, 589 McElroy Drive, Oxford, MS 38655.



The USDA/ARS/SEA intends to issue a firm fixed price construction purchase order. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction with a size standard of $45.0M. The solicitation is anticiapted to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.



The Governement anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or around December 8, 2023. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnituide of the project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. During the solication phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions during the site visit.



Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFQ package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed, and telephone requests will not be honored.



This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes- it does not constitute the Request for Quote (RFQ). This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for bid/quotation preparion costs. The statement of work is attached to this notice for information only. The full RFQ, applicable provisions/clauses, wage rates, etc. will be posted when the full RFQ solicitation is released.
