Description

The contractor shall build and deliver one container for transportation and storage of the Geostationary Carbon Cycle Observatory (GeoCarb) Instrument Assembly in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (Attachment A) and Drawing GCRB0001652 (Attachment B). The GeoCarb Instrument Assembly is considered Class I spaceflight hardware in accordance with NASA Procedural Requirement (NPR) 6000.1H, Requirements for Packaging, Handling, and Transportation for Aeronautical and Space Systems, Equipment, and Associated Components. This transportation and storage container will be built and will be utilized for both the transportation of and the long-term storage of the GeoCarb Instrument Assembly in an ISO7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom under a continuous GN2 purge.
