The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District (NWK), intends to issue a solicitation for construction services. This solicitation is for bids for a Firm Fixed-Price Single Award for Wilson Relief Wells in Russell County, KS. This is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses.

The solicitation will be available on or about 1 May 2024 on the SAM website at www.sam.gov, and bids will be due within 30 days from issuance of the solicitation.

The NAICS code for this project is NAICS 237990 (Other Heavy Construction) with a small business size standard of $45 million. The Government will award one contract under this solicitation.

This estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. A Bid Bond and Payment/Performance Bonds shall be required.

The Wilson Relief Well Replacement project will line remaining wells constructed in 1992, (RW-2A, RW-9A, RW-10A, RW-11A, RW-12A, RW-6A, RW-7A, RW-8A). In addition to lining the 1992 wells, up to 9 replacement wells will be installed. An additional option to this work will encompass work pertinent to replacement and extension of the existing 54 inch pipe, approximately 130ft in length, including earthwork associated with the pipe extension as well as rockwork at the pipe outfall.

If the offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity must have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM data base, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective offeror.

The solicitation and associated information will be available from the SAM website https://sam.gov/content/home. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation.
