The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Solicitation Number W912EE24B0004 for Red River Basin, Bossier Parish P.L.84-99 Red Chute Bayou Bank Stabilization RM 199-59, Sites 1-9.

The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment, and constructing the PL 84-99 Red Chute Bayou Bank Stabilization at 9 sites on the Red Chute Bayou in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. The principal features of work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing, grubbing, longitudinal peaked stone toe dikes, tiebacks, excavation, backfill, and storm water pollution prevention.

In accordance with FAR 36.204, the construction magnitude of this project will be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.

The estimated period of performance for completion of the entire work ready for use, including finish dressing, by maintaining an average rate of stone placement of 250 tons per calendar day.

The Government intends to award without discussions but reserves the right to conduct discussion should it be deemed in the Government's best interest.

The bids will be evaluated based on lowest price submitted.

Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Telephone and Fax requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. To download the solicitation for this project, contractors are required to register at https://www.sam.gov/. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Amendments, if/when issued, will be posted to the above referenced website for electronic downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore, it is the Offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation.

Offerors must have and maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov and must include the NAICS code they are bidding under in order to receive a Government contract award. If the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.
