Amendment #0002 Questions and Answers
Q1: When do services need to be performed?

A1: (Semi-Annual) Every February and August.

Q2: On the pricing sheet under Semi-Annual it says Qty 2, but there are 3 boilers. Is this an error? And if so could you please correct the pricing sheet?

A2: This is not an error. Vendor is to invoice for preventative maintenance of all 3 boilers combined, twice a year.

Q3: We assume bench testing for instrument calibration during annuals. What transmitters are you using and do they communicate with HART? If you are using an older communication protocol such as DA does your site provide a Honeywell Brick?

A3: We use ABB, No Honeywell Brick.

Q4: What are the make and model numbers of the burners? (Pages 5-7)

A4: The burners are based off the make and model of the boilers. The burners do not have their own make and model number.

Q5: Is there any asbestos materials on boilers or piping for boilers? (Pages 5-7)

A5: Yes, in the boilers.

Q6: Can more than one boiler be shut down at a time to perform inspections? (Pages 5-7)

A6: No, Due to the rule of two. This means when there is one boiler online a second must be on standby/backup.

Q7: For the frequency of 5 training days, is this all at one time? Can this be conducted through multiple visits? Reference page 7 on the solicitation.

A7: Multiple visits.

Q8: Will you be providing a Tax Exemption Certificate and/or Letter for this project once awarded?

A8: Yes, tax exemption certificate will be provided to awardee.
