Description View Changes
The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to answer questions from industry and supply an updated Performance Work Statement.

Does the VA require the waste to be shredded since that is not a state/federal requirement for our facility?
No, the VA does not require the waste to be shredded prior to disposal. We ask that the waste be heated to a temperature to kill/destroy any viruses/pathogens. The vendor can then dispose of all materials by either shredding or compacting as long as there is no visible/viable PII present.

Please see updated PWS below. Updates are highlighted in Yellow.
