Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research. PHNSY & IMF is seeking capability of a qualified contractor for the installation of a Blown Fiber Optic Cable (BOF) on a Virginia Class Submarine.
Please provide a capability statement indicating your ability to accomplish the statement of work and include past information of similar contracts or jobs performed on U.S. Navy Vessels.

This request for capability information does not constitute as a request for proposals. The result of this market research will contribute to determine the method of procurement. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by the stated deadline. In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Government has sole discretion.
