Place of Performance:
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to conduct oral solicitations for NFS-Combi Ovens. This procurement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small business. Any eligible offerors may request to participate in oral solicitations in writing by email to Luke.Nesse@va.gov no later than NOON PDT Monday April 3, 2023.
Description. COMBI Ovens
Place of Contract Performance. Deliver to Tacoma, WA 98493
Set-aside Status. SDVOSB
Manufacturer, including part number, drawing number, etc. Rational, ICP 10 FULL E 208/240 or Equal.
(2)Â Size, dimensions, or other form, fit or functional description. 41 x 42 X 38-3/8 Salient Characteristics:
The ovens shall have maximum dimensions of 4 W x 4 D x 6 H (with legs or stand).
The ovens shall have a minimum capacity to hold 10 full-size baking sheets.
The ovens must have four legs or a stand with four legs so that the ovens are at least two feet off the ground to allow for ergonomic operation & easy cleaning underneath the equipment.
The ovens must meet National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) requirements & only be constructed from Food & Drug Administration (FDA)-approved materials.
Interior & exterior surfaces must be made from stainless steal to allow for easy cleaning.
Oven doors shall have glass panes to observe food in cooking chambers.
The ovens must have 208-240 V, PH 3 plug
The ovens shall have specific operating functionality for poultry, meat, fish eggs, desserts, vegetables & baked goods.
The ovens shall have a programmable touchscreen panel that can be loaded with specific & custom recipes.
The ovens shall use computerized technology to cook items using steam & convection to produce various cooking methods including steaming, roasting, cooking, baking, oven grilling, oven roasting, & combination.
The ovens must have sensors & probes to manage climate & cooking of items in the oven.
The ovens must have a computerized cleaning & descaling system.
A water softener shall be installed to the existing water line to ensure that build-up does not prevent the equipment from working properly.
The ovens shall meet energy star requirements
