Synopsis:



The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation – Acquisition and Procurement Division intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for the Appalachian Plant Materials Center Office Renovations, located at 385 Old Prison Farm Road, Alderson, Greenbrier County, WV.



Work will consist of drywall repair/finishing, painting, plumbing, installing gas line, removal, replacement, and installation of flooring, baseboards, hot water heater, wall panels. Additionally, installation of 3 whiteboards, 2 corkboards, and 1 large television. Additional work may include unmounting existing furniture from walls for work preparation.



The solicitation will be a 100 percent Small Business set-aside. Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.



The full solicitation package including scope of work, construction wage determination, and information on the site visit will be posted and available from this website on or about August 17, 2023.



A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.



The anticipated period of performance for this project is 60 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).



The NAICS code for this solicitation is 236220, Maintenance of other Industrial Buildings. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $45M.



In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.



A site showing is planned and details will be included in the solicitation package.
