Motorcycle Safety Instructors
This is a synopsis and does not obligate the government to award; the government reserves the right to withdraw the synopsis and any forthcoming solicitation without due compensation to potential offerors. This announcement does not constitute a request for proposal (RFP). The base period is from 1 Jun 24 through 31 May 25 with four one-year option periods. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the most current federal acquisition circular. This action is being procured under NAICS code 611692 (Automobile Driving Schools) and related small business standard - $10M. The solicitation is expected as an RFP issued as a 100% small business set-aside.
The government is contemplating award of a service contract for Motorcycle Safety class Instructors at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. This is a commercial acquisition. The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel required to instruct with a maximum of 12 students per class. Number of classes are estimated; vendor will be paid for actual number of courses instructed:
a. 14- 2 day -Basic Rider Course Updated (BRCU) or Basic Rider Course EP1x11 (BRC EP1x11) courses. Classes with be scheduled for Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
b. 9 - 1 day- Basic Rider Course 2 (BRC2) or Basic Rider Course 2 Update (BRC2U) classes. Classes will be taught on Thursdays.
c. 8 - 1 day- Advanced Rider Course (ARC) or Advanced Rider Course Update (ARCU) classes. Classes will be taught on Thursdays.
All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management in order to do business with the government. The solicitation will be issued on or about 9 Apr 24. The due date for proposals will be posted in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web page; (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). Paper copies will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested contractors to monitor the Fed Biz Opps web page frequently for updates/amendments to the solicitation.
