The C-17 Program Management Office has a requirement that is for a firm-fixed price contract for seventeen (17) each NSN: 6685-01-529-3128, Gage Assembly – Air Pressure, P/N 17G130483-1, which includes one First Article, one First Article Test Plan, and one First Article Test Report. The C-17 Landing Gear employs 5 hydraulic fluid/nitrogen filled struts, four on the main landing gear (MLG) and one on the nose landing gear (NLG). A means is required at the organizational and depot maintenance levels to check the nitrogen pressure in each strut and to provide a controlled means of adjusting strut pressure. The means must provide a non-leaking interface with the MS28889 strut charging valve. A flexible interconnection between the charging valve and the pressure checking device is needed to permit visual access of the readout unit. The device attachment nut must be compatible with the .305-32 male threads on the MS28889 charging valve stem. Delivery is FOB Destination with shipments in the continental United States. This requirement will be solicited as an 8(a) direct award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposals will be evaluated based on the criteria stated in the RFQ. All data for this weapon system is considered EXPORT CONTROLLED. Proposals are due 28 March 2024 by 4:00 PM EST.
