A non-personal services follow-on requirement in support of the 58th Special Operations Wing (58th SOW), Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), New Mexico. Wash and corrosion prevention services will be performed on MC/HC/AC-130J aircrafts, services provided must be consistent with practices in the commercial marketplace along with Government required procedures. The contracted services shall be performed as scheduled by the Government in accordance with (IAW) current United States Air Force (USAF) guidance in Technical Order (T.O.) 1-1-691, Cleaning and Corrosion Prevention Control, Aerospace and Non-Aerospace Equipment, Table 3-1, Aircraft Wash Intervals. The average number of aircraft washes per year in the 58 SOW is sixteen for the HC/MC-130J and ten for AC-130J, current wash cycle for each aircraft being 180 calendar days. Numbers of washes per month will vary. Unscheduled washes are based on special requirements for washes prior to Isochronal Inspection and other scheduled/unscheduled maintenance.
